Thank you for your interest in working as a Teaching Assistant in Newham.
Vacancies are advertised in the Newham Recorder newspaper,
and some schools may choose to advertise on the Newham Council's Jobs Pages.
You will need to respond as requested by the School.
No particular qualifications are required for TA posts as training will be given.
Schools will be looking for high standards of written and spoken English and strong Maths ability. These
will be tested at interview. TA advertisements attract a high number of applications, so you are advised
to complete the form neatly, paying particular attention to spelling, and make full reference to your experience
of working with children, paid or voluntary.
