For new primary teachers the prospects are excellent with high starting salaries (typically £27,000) and good opportunities for promotion. NQTs who are appointed through the pool also receive a Retention and Recruitment point of £1,194 and a *£1000 Golden Hello.

We offer a very supportive and varied induction programme, and Primary NQTs also get up to 3 weeks of paid work in July; a chance to earn over £1000. Most Secondary schools also offer generous incentives.
